These are quite friendly, unintimidating looking bees. Once again, the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens combined with illumination from the ML-3 makes a sharp image possible where sufficient light did not exist.

Another picture of a bumblebee from the side. This one is getting a little sticky with the pollen.

A honeybee feasting on the same sorts of flowers that the bumblebee, above, was on.

This is an example of how well the autofocus on the 100mm Macro lens can perform, when given enough illumination.

A closeup of a wasp. This is a good reason to have a long macro lens as opposed to a short one.
